Editorial Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):

1) Product Description
The last 6 years has seen many advances in our knowledge of illnesses. The DSM-IV-TRV spans the bridge between DSM- IVV and DSM-VV to ensur e that the most relevant new information since the DSM- IVV literature review in 1992 was incorporated and to enhance the educational value. Specifically, new information on associated features, including asso ciated laboratory and physical findings, has been added for many of th e disorders. Sections on prevalence, gender/age/culture, course, and familial pattern have also been revised to reflect recent research fin dings. More comprehensive differential diagnoses have been incorporat ed for many of the disorders.

Customer Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):
Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5

1) mad   [Rating: 1 out of 5]
i never recieved the product and filed a complaint with amazon with the user who never sent the product

2) hardback at paperback price   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I buy a lot of books and wanted this one in hardback. Reference books take a lot of abuse. Brandnew, perfect condition still in wrapper. Cost less than the new paperpack version. Thank YOU!

3) Great!   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This book got to probably less than a week after I ordered it, so shipping time was great. It was in perfect condition, just as promised.

4) DSM Review   [Rating: 4 out of 5]
What can I say? Anyone that is interested in counseling or psychology must have this book.

5) Seems overly technical, even for psych   [Rating: 4 out of 5]
Psych is difficult to understand in it's complex levels. This book goes to some extremes, where it could have been easier to just simplify it. Some "DSM-IV" for dummies books do exactly that, making the whole thing a lot easier to comprehend and use. Overall, it's the standard knowledge base needed for any psychologist/health clinician.
