Customer Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):
Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5
1) Covers the Basics [Rating: 4 out of 5]
Does a good job of covering the basics. The pictures are great and explanations clear.2) Patho [Rating: 4 out of 5]
This book is good and has a lot of knowledge in each chapter. However, the information can sometimes be a little to limiting in one area and excessive in another. Sometimes it's a hard read due to its slight disorganization. Overall, it is good to have around when trying to get a little more in depth knowledge about pathological diseases and cases.3) Excellent delivery [Rating: 5 out of 5]
The re-delivery time of my purchase was very good and this made the whole experience pleasant.4) Great condition, good response [Rating: 4 out of 5]
Book was exactly as described, took about 7 business days to arrive.5) A great review for AP boards [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This text is very concise compared with Robbins Pathologic Basis of Disease. Both are excellent, but this "smaller" book actually has everything you need for the general pathology part of the written AP boards. I am specifically referring to chapters 1-9 with 10 and 11. It needs to be read with near total comprehension, but the color graphics are excellent aids. All other systemic pathology topics should be covered in a surgical pathology text, of course.
