Undoubtedly the first movie in history to have played in theaters with three different endings (depending on which theater you attended), Clue is a silly whodunit based on the familiar board game featuring Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, and all the other usual suspects. A broadly comic cast play the sundry suspects gathered in a mansion to solve a murder, knowing that one of their numbers is the culprit. Michael McKean, Eileen Brennan, and Tim Curry are the best of the bunch, and the film is as lightweight an experience as a round of the game itself. Directed by Jonathan Lynn (My Cousin Vinny). Clue is a total comedy classic, I remember watching while I was growing up and it is still funny to this day. Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd and Madeline Kahn are totally hilarious in this whodunit. I like on the DVD you can pick which ending you want or get randomly surprised.

This is my all-time favorite movie! The DVD is great and allows you to see one version or all three endings. I watched it 8 times so far and have found new reasons to laugh every time.

3) Not as funny as I remembered...   [Rating: 3 out of 5]
I had fond memories of this movie being very funny. It did have a few moments - but in general I'd say even at the rock-bottom Amazon price it wasn't really worth buying. I should have checked the library first. Clue is the kind of movie that sounds like it was recorded to a laugh track - there are many pauses after punch lines - but there's no laugh track, so it seems a bit painful to watch all these actors standing around waiting for the built-in laughter pause to be over.

I liked this movie when I was a kid. Little did I know that the different endings were each played at a different theater, so no one could say they saw the same thing. lol

I got this movie at such a great price new that it almost feels like a crime. I recieved it within days in excellent condition.
