The eighth season of Friends picks up just moments after Monica and Chandler said, "I do." But the focus of this season is firmly on Rachel's pregnancy, as the story progresses from fatherhood revelations in "The One with the Red Sweater" and "The One Where Rachel Tells..." toward complicated new feelings for Rachel, Ross, and Joey, culminating in the maternity ward two-parter "The One Where Rachel Has a Baby." But it's not all Rachel's pregnancy story. Standalone highlights include "The One with the Rumor" in which the "We Hate Rachel" club started in high school by Ross and a certain Mr. Jennifer Aniston (an uncredited Brad Pitt) is revealed; while "The One with Monica's Boots" has Monica and Chandler arguing over finances when Phoebe and Ross are arguing over the attentions of Sting's wife, Trudie Styler (cameoing as herself). Relationship complications fall upon Phoebe as "The One with the Tea Leaves" hooks her up with a stellar cameo from Alec Baldwin. "The One with Joey's Interview" has Matt LeBlanc in top form preparing to be interviewed by Soap Opera Digest. But time starts to tick faster for everyone in "The One Where Rachel Is Late," as Joey's WWI movie finally arrives, but is overshadowed by the wait for Rachel's overdue arrival. Naturally it's all build-up to the cliffhanger finale and a final emotional surprise. --Paul Tonks

1) Friends complete 8th season [Rating: 5 out of 5]
DVD's are in great condition, it has given us lots of laughs, delivery was prompt. We have gone on to purchase the other seasons now.2) Friends Forever [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This was one of the best seasons. The never before seen scenes are hilarious. As the seasons went by you could see the connection between Ross and Rachel. Best bonus with this season? Brad Pitt. My husband and I enjoy watching the show, over and over. If you want funny and goofy, buy this DVD. You will enjoy it.3) The Best of the Best [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Now, this season is my personal favorite season of Friends. It had the best story lines and the best character development. I think that if I were to only watch one season for the rest of my life, it would be season 8. I really love Monica and Chandler embracing their new married life, and Joey secretly falling in love with Rachel while she is pregnant with Ross's baby. My favorites included " The One with the Stripper," (my personal favorite of the series!), "The one with Monica's Boots", "The one where Joey dates Rachel", The One with the Stain", "The one where Chandler takes a Bath", "The One with the Cooking Class", The One where Rachel is Late", "The One with Massapequa", The One with the Tea Leaves", "The One Where Rachel Tells Ross", "The One with the Stain", "The One with the Videotape", "The One with the Baby Shower", "The One with the Red Sweater", "The One with Rachel's Date", and "The One where Joey tells Rachel." Check this awesome season out. A+4) Right back on the saddle! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Before I bought Season 7, I came online and read the reviews for it. There was alot of negativity about it being the worst season of Friends. So I bought anyway because I love Friends that much. Boy, were people right. Its not that Season 7 "sucked", but 98% of the material just wasnt funny. Granted the cast did the best they could with what they were given, I was pretty disappointed with the season. But in came Season 8! Right off the bat with the first episode gives us the witty "Friends" that we all know and love. I wont spoil the season for you like some people already have here, but I recommend getting this season if you love Friends!5) Best season of the 'New' episodes. [Rating: 5 out of 5]
In my book, season 5 was the start of the 'New' episodes (after they get back from London). The seasons prior to that were classic untouchable episodes of Friends. I thought season 8 was the best season of the new episodes. It starts after we find out about Rachel's pregnancy at Monica and Chandler's wedding. Then we get episodes with Brad Pitt guest starring, as a someone who co-founded an 'I Hate Rachel' club in high school, episodes with strippers who are hookers, and episodes where Joey falls in love with Rachel. Not to mention with a classic Friends cliffhanger ending. Compelling stuff.
