This is high quality entertainment for all ages. I was surprised at the high quality pictures, DVD's, and extras. A great gift for anyone!

Watching this series again after 20 years years it still holds up for today as it did when it first aired with its values more shows should be like this. This is Michael Landon at best with his character and his distinctive laugh.The picture was great but the sound could be a little higher and the opening credits should be on every episode as they list the guest stars on it. I diud not have any trouble with any of the extras especially the quiz which I had no trouble with it .So watch and enjoy them with a little love in your heart

This was the perfect gift for my niece and nephew for Christmas. They absolutely love it. Instead of watching Disney channel (some shows are too mature) and Disney movies, this was another option. I loved the series as a child and this was something that I could give them amid the questionable shows targeted towards children today. I plan to purchase the other seasons as well.

Image quality ok considering the age. But the sound is far from ok and not surround. A big deception and it was not even advertised on the description. Be careful not to get fooled. For collectors who REALLY wants it badly and nobody else. I returned mine since it was deffective and i'm having a hard time getting refunded. Beware!
