1) One of the best!!   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This CD is one of the best CD's that I have purchased in quite some time. I actually need to make a copy of it since I play it practically everyday going to and from work and I would like to listen to it at home as well.

2) How 'bout this, Ya'll?   [Rating: 1 out of 5]
I think Jeff Bradshaw and Roy Hargrove could, No, I take that back...SHOULD do a COLLABORATION together, with James Poyser, Jazzy Jeff, Rapheal Saadiq on some of the production, ?uestlove on all drums, Erykah, Amel, Jill, Angie, Alicia (on some Rhodes), India, Lauryn (Hill, that is), and Floetry, Michelle Ndegeocello all doing some vocals and spoken word and somewhere between Musiqsoulchild,Eric Benet, and Kindred the family SOUL on vocals, D'Angelo would fall in in his first vocal appearance on any album in 8 years. (Since VOODOO)That would be a dream come true. Peace, Love, & Nu Classic Soul

3) Jeff Bradshaw -Bone Deep   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I love this CD. It is so smooth, upbeat and relaxing. I have told all of my friends about this cd. This is definitely one of my favorites and recommend it to anyone. You do not have to be a jazz fanatic to enjoy this.

4) Love it!!!!   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Can't imagine why I slept on this for so long - letting all that good music go to waste. Mr. Bradshaw is a real bad-azz on that trombone - and he sings, too!! An entire trombone CD - who would've thunk? I used to love the powerful trombone playing from the group 'Chicago' from back in the day. People never gave it very much credit, but I betcha that'll change now! This CD is very smooth, cool, jazzy, funky, laid back - all that & 2 bags of chips. Favorites are Come Over, which is the cut that drew me to wanting the CD; Beyond the Stars w/Glenn Lewis (Lewis' vocals combined w/that beautiful, haunting background music willl draw you into listening to it over & over again); Smooth Soul - just a cool, chilling song & I loved the way N'Dambi sang Miss Celie's Blues[Sister]. All in all - Bone Deep is one you will want in your collection! Get it!

5) Bad to the Bone!!!   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Ahh, yes! What a breath of fresh air this CD is! For starters, it's about time a trombone (bone) soloist steps from behind the back to the front, to take this instrument to new directions. And that's just what Jeff Bradshaw does on his debuting CD, "Bone Deep." From the intro teaser and skits, to collaborations with Jill Scott, Glenn Lewis, and the incredible Bilal, this CD sings from beginning to end. My favorite cuts are "Lookin" and the James Brown remake "Make It Funky." I also especially like the effects Bradshaw employs on his trombone, it gives it an almost synthesized sound. Trust me, this is definitely not the usual trombone sound associated with jazz, and that's a good thing. That said, if you're strictly a jazz purist, this CD probably won't satisfy you. But for everyone else on planet earth, who enjoy jazz fusion or smooth jazz, "Bone Deep" should be in your collection!!!
