Editorial Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):
1) Album Description
Jack's Mannequin, the angst-flavored, SoCal-vibed side project of Something Corporate's singer-song-writer Andrew McMahon, debuted live at SXSW and now debuts on album with Everything in Transit. Produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Alien Ant Farm), and featuring Motley Crue's Tommy Lee on drums, Everything in Transit offers yet another stage for the ethereal voice of an iconoclastic performer who is among alt-rock's most popular artists.

1) AMAZING! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
one of the best albums i've bort in ages! i got onto the band through something corporate, who never realy grabbed me, but with JM the tunes seem much more poppy and catchy. Immediatly stick in your head. Im a sucker for piano, so maby i fell for it faster then others will, but definently worth a look. Stand out tracks, the mixed tape, im ready, and rescued. If anyone knows of bands that sound very similar then please sing out :)2) "And Today is a Day Just Like Any Other..." [Rating: 5 out of 5]
What a wonderful CD! I can't stop listening to it in my car. Just for the sake of brevity, anyone who buys this CD will be undertaken by the catchy tunes, cool sound and liberal atmosphere. Higly recommended!3) breathtaking [Rating: 5 out of 5]
i had to travel out of town to buy this cd, which was a good thing cause i could listen to it all on the way home. From the first song to the end...i was absolutely amazed. the cd completely turned my stomach in a good way. There is something magical about Jacks Mannequin...i dont know what it is, but words cannot describe the notes played by Andrew and the mixture of instruments the band plays. this truely is a music piece that will stick with me to the very end. Thank you Andrew for what ever led you to create such a beautiful album. its artists like you that im glad to live through the era im living in right now. ill never forget the emotion and hard work you put into this ablum....thank you so much again Andrew.4) Best Yet [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I'm a huge SoCo fan, so of course when I heard about Andrew McMahon's solo project I was excited. This cd was even better than I could have expected. I've listened to it about 1000 times, and I'm still not tired of it. It has catchy lyrics, and all the songs are cool and piano driven, which I love. Honestly there's not a bad song on it.5) Call it a comeback [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Everything in Transit is the kind of CD you play on repeat in your car and don't get sick of...at least I haven't yet! I love each track from start to finish. I recently saw Andrew McMahon with Jack's Mannequin play at the 930 club and he sings and throws down on the piano even better live than he does on the album.
