I had the extreme pleasure of hearing Jill Knight in person on two separate occasions while strolling around San Francisco's Pier 39. The first time was a little over three years ago and each and every time her voice has moved me near tears. The voice of an angel is how I best describe her. Please support her music. I own her CDs and would highly recommend her to anyone. And somebody sign this woman FAST!!2) Jill Knight is AMAZING! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I discovered Jill's music at Ghiradelli Square when visiting San Fran 5 years ago. I was HOOKED by the first song, and Future Perfect is my absolute favorite CD to this day. Her lyrics are just as beautiful as her voice, and often move me to tears... especially "Don't Make Me Cry". I hope this fabulously talented woman makes it to Philadelphia one day so I can hear her again! In the meantime, her CD will have to do :)3) Don't miss out on this one... [Rating: 5 out of 5]
The first time I heard Jill live I was instantly hooked. I own 'Future Perfect' and 'Imaginary Line', both CDs have become quite the little addiction. I can't wait for her next release.Nothing compares to hearing this woman live, something rarely said in today's music world. I, too, happened upon Jill Knight on a weekend trip to Pier 49 in San Francisco. My feet followed the sounds of this belting, sultry voice and soon I was confronted by a woman, alone with her guitar, captivating every person in the vicinity. Her voice is soft yet strong, classic while rockin' and deeply true. It is difficult to express how her music has affected me. All I can say is buying her CD was one of the best things I have done for myself in a long time. I listen to it daily and I need only blast "Don't Make Me Cry" to reconnect with life and everything good in the world. Thank you Jill Knight. I have had two opportunities to see Jill at Fisherman's Wharf both by happenstance (coincidence) and I was lucky both times. I was so pleased to get her first cd and the day I saw her I felt refreshed and uplifted, then the next time I was at the wharf I had my daughters with me. They were so impressed becuase I had the cd from my previous visit and to actually see the person singing was amazing. Jill sang other songs which were by famed artists and you'd swear she was the artists themselves. I just sat there for hours listening to her sing and play. I was fortunate enough to get her autograph on her second cd. She has a talent that is unique and she deserves all God's blessings, plus more.
