1) Love Jonas Brothers, but the price here is ridiculous [Rating: 4 out of 5]
I got it last summer for like 10 dollars, now I wish hadn't ruined the cover so that I could put it in a CD carrier. But, if its the music that matters, you can down load JB music for a normal price.I love the music but right now its marked for over $200 dollars. That's just crazy.2) Amazing CD [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This is The Jonas Brothers first CD,Its RAREIts a Awesome CD. U cant buy it Stores, The Tracks Are Not downloadable Anywhere on the Web. They Dont make this Album Anymore Because they Are with a Different Record Label Now, As Crazy As it Seems Its Definitely Worth the Money People Are Asking=)You Should Definitely Buy this Album!=)3) It's DEFINITELY About Time [Rating: 5 out of 5]
"This album is so worth buying if you love the Jonas Brothers, if not for the sheer comic value of hearing Nick Jonas, age 12 singing his little heart out. But there are some really great songs that you can't get anywhere else. Favorites: Mandy, What I Go To School For, Underdog, Year 3000, Please Be Mine, 6 Minutes.4) WOW, out-of-print already...do U know about the DUALDISC version that was pulled?? [Rating: 4 out of 5]
WOW, had no idea this was already out-of-print...it only came out in 2006...and that it goes for big bucks!!!! There was initially a DualDisc version from 2005 with a completely different tracklisting...it's MISSING the 2 singles that weren't originally on the record: "Year 3000" and "What I Go To School For"..."I Am What I Am" was the first track and "Mandy" was the original first single on the album...and the DVD side has the 3-part video of "Mandy", the making of that video series, and a "Day-in-the-life" feature with the brothers and their family...it also comes with a little sheet of stickers...lucky I found this DualDisc in a junkbin in a fave record store in NYC...it was pulled at the last minute, changed around with the 3 new songs added: "Year 3000", "What I Go To School For" and "Please Be Mine" (3 were removed), and the video segment/DVD side removed in favor of a regular CD.I have both versions, I combined them into one package...and I will sell it ONLY for the right price...As for the music, I really like it...a REALLY catchy, freshly scrubbed hybrid of early Hanson circa "MMMBop" meets pop punkers like Green Day, Blink 182 and New Found Glory. Really likable, enough that I want to take these kids under my wing or something. Harmless stuff but with enough attitude and punch that they don't belong in the "Kidz Bop" wing, if you know what I mean. Now, I know these Jonas Brothers nabbed a new deal with Hollywood...I'm not surprised, as Sony BMG didn't do much with the first album, and Disney seemed to promote them more, even before signing to Hollywood...I have a feeling they bought out these kids' contract, as their star was rising...and probably part of the deal was to put the first album out of print...now, it's worth BUCKOS.I have a feeling the new album is even better, a progression from "It's About Time" and it's getting good reviews...so that's a good sign.Like I said, I'm happy I have both versions of the first album, I just won't part with them except for the right price, that's all...I'll check the comments from time to time...thanks.5) jonas brothers ROCK!!!!!!!!!
