Editorial Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):

1) Amazon.com
Jason Mraz's breakthrough 2002 hit, "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)" established him as a funnier, funkier version of John Mayer, custom-built for The O.C. set. On Mr. A-Z, the Virginia singer-songwriter continues mixing up folk melodies and hip-hop beats. He also keeps making heroic stabs at humor that would have gone down like a storm in his coffeehouse days but typically backfire on record. Fortunately, producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel) is on hand to clean things up, giving even the most bumbling lyrical experiments, such as "Wordplay" and "Geek in the Pink," at least the illusion of a newfound maturity. --Aidin Vaziri

2) Album Description
Jason Mraz presents his latest offering and his second studio album-Mr. A-Z. Produced by the legendary Steve Lillywhite (U2, Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, et al) at Allaire Studios near Woodstock, NY, Mr. A-Z is Mraz's most inspired and thoughtful record to date.

Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5

1) pretty good   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
not as great as last but good~liked the tongue twisters in last album better!this is more ballads but OK

2) Sophomore disappointment   [Rating: 2 out of 5]
I see there are a lot of huge Mraz fans out there. I am still too but am I the only one who thought the first album rocked me out but this second one knocked me out (zzzzz)? The first CD was one of those rare "front to back" CDs where pretty much every song was awesome. Sure this second one has its diamonds in the rough (like Wordplay, Geek in Pink, & Did You Get my Message) but everything else?? Advice? Buy the first album & download the above songs. You won't be disappointed. Because this sophomore album made me want to "Sleep All Day..."

3) very jason...   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
it is definitely a jason mraz albums. he pulls off the slow melancholy song as he has done before, and just like the remedy, geek in the pink and wordplay are two great upbeat songs with awesome lyrics

4) one of the best vocal album i have heard   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
first off i want to say jason mraz vocals are amazing, he really shows how good he can sing on Mr Curiosity by singing opera. i just bought the cd today and i cant stop listing to it. it is a great album fromn start to finish. and the video for wordplay is awsome. did you get my message has a little diffrent sound for him but its a sweet song. forecast is my favorite song on this album. my pick for one of the best albums of 2006 go buy this album 10/10 all 3 of his cds are awsome

5) He just gets better and better!   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I didn't think it was possible I would like anything better than "MRAZLIVE" but this one tops it.
