"Songs to Make Love to Your Old Lady By" - a fine title for a sweet album. the combination of Dan the Automator, Mike Patton, & Jennifer Charles deliver a very phat, original sounding album full of fantastic beats & rhythms, layered w/ deep & soulful vocals. So buy this cd, pop it in your stereo on repeat, & make love to your old lady (or man) like the title says!2) Up there with the best things I ever heard in my life! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Basically, this album is Patton at his best no doubt, all his stuff is always interesting and I tend to get most of it but this really is a special one, really special. Jennifer Charles and Mike P together just is like heaven and yes sex all rolled into a soundtrack to die for. Cliches? I dont care as its true and well you just cant get any better than this! Beautifully produced by Dan the Automator and I just hope one day they do another one. Something tells me though that this is just so good it might be best to leave it, as like I said it just does not get any better.....karl Cov3) Some brilliant tracks, though everything stands out on its own [Rating: 5 out of 5]
I picked this album up because by some coincidence I'm fans of Dan the Automator and Mike Patton at the same time. Jennifer Charles, providing most of the vocals, has made me a fan of her and Elysium Fields as well.The album is, I guess, seen as something of a parody, but I guess I don't buy that explanation. It's a good album, great to make love to your old lady and great if you're alone and reading... or falling asleep... or even drinking in an alley with headphones...or just watching the rain fall. Jennifer Charles' vocals will intoxicate you like a drug.4) My lady is young but this still works like a charm [Rating: 5 out of 5]

An excellent CD that I heard last year and couldn't get in Australia. After playing it to my friends they were all in the same opinion that this CD cranks.
