Editorial Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):

1) Album Description
R. Kelly has had 26 Top 40 hits, won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2001 MOBO Awards, and his anthemic smash 'Ignition Remix' entered the charts at No.1. TP.3 Reloaded features a 5-part musical soap opera entitled "Trapped...In The Closet." In typical daring R. Kelly style he has experimented with the art of storytelling and lyrics to create something very unique. The concept behind the soap on "Trapped...In The Closet" comes from back in the day, when the radio was the only entertainment available. Families would sit round the radio to listen to shows and plays for evening entertainment.

1) NOT ONE OF MY MOST PLAYED R. KELLY ALBUMS...   [Rating: 4 out of 5]
This project is all mixed up with various settings and/or grooves, and doesn't fall in the pocket as a Solid Album Project. Standout Tracks are: "Slow Wind", "Kickin' It With Your Girlfriend", And the Main Track that sold the album: "Trapped In The Closet". If you were lucky enough to get this Compact Disc when if was first released you got the Bonus DVD of "Trapped In The Closet" (And what a Video!!!). Mr. Kelly ALWAYS managed to get a Number One Hit Single, and a few Top Ten Singles to boot from EVERY Album...So far, but there's always room for improvement, and I'm pretty sure he will get better with the next project...He has too much talent to let it go to waste. Maybe he was rushing to get this release finished, there has to be a story behind this almost weak project.

2) YAWN   [Rating: 1 out of 5]
Proof how insincere R. Kelly was on U Saved Me. It didn't ring true back then, and here's proof he hasn't changed a bit. I used to like his music, but he hasn't evolved mentally nor spiritually. And what's up with those annoying water drops? How many times do we have to listen to those in an R'n'B song? Yawn...

3) R. Kelly- TP3.Reloaded   [Rating: 3 out of 5]
Well i was really excited for this album. I was literally counting down the days for the release. And maybe that is why it did not appeal to me that much. I mean it was far from bad, but i built it up to much. I was expecting way better. He has changed his sound so much over the last few years from Chocolate Factory and TP2 maybe thats why it was a bit dissapointing. First of all the "Trapped In The Closet" set was cool for the first three chapters and then that got old real fast. But there are a few standout tracks dispite some filler. The perfectly produce "Kickin It With Your Girlfriend" is so mellow and relaxing with its mid tempo beat, while the same can be said about "Sex Weed" only with that signature sexy edge to it. But the mistake is when you get to "Girls Go Crazy". This song is down right awful, its like listening to dogs bark. Kells can do alot better than this. This album is heavily driven on sex and even for R this album has a little to much of it. I mean some of the songs are good but the obsession with sex does get old. The only time it really seems like he wonders away from it is for the not so appealing Trapped In The Closet series, which also gets old REAL FAST. The bottom line is that this album had some major anticipation and i did not live up to it. It was an alright album when most were expecting something way better. But thats not to say its not worth buying if you are an R.Kelly fan. Because despite it being a bit over the line on the sex tip, it still has some decent songs to be played. Only buy if you are a big R.Kelly fan!!!Grade:C+

4) It does not start out with a bang it ends with one   [Rating: 3 out of 5]
After hearing Happy People, its certain that R Kelly needs to step it up or step off. Even though R Kelly is a great singer that leaves a definite impression with each album he makes, Happy People showed that he was not going to be the same. This album follows suit. Trapped In The Closet(chapters 1-5) is the best and most creative song R Kelly ever made. The story of infidelity(with more twists and turns than your average soap opera) will keep you listening to all 5 chapters of Trapped In The Closet with no hesitation. Unfortunately the rest of this album is not as spectacular. Standout Tracks: PLAYA'S ONLY(feat Game), HAPPY SUMMERTIME(feat Snoop) and SLOW WIND are all good club records. TOUCHIN with Nivea is a decent but explicit love jam but none of these songs is touching the epic Trapped In The Closet(chapters 1-5). Filler: Sex in the kitchen and Put my T-shirt on are flat out dull, Remote control is a dumb love jam with a corny concept, Sex weed and (Sex) Love is what we makin are just as bad as the titles and Turn it up is so wack it makes you hate reggaeton. Other disposable songs: Girls Go Crazy(if this what R Kelly and Birdman's Best of Both Worlds would have sounded like then the whole world dodged one hell of a bullet!), Reggae Bump Bump(just as bad as it sounds), Hit It Till The Morning(all those people on one record and it still sucked),and Kickin It With Your Girlfriend(ran out of ideas for a song). Bottom Line: R Kelly can do much better than this and if he cant its time for him to throw in the towel. Sure all 5 chapters of Trapped In The Closet are great but the rest of this album is not as great as Trapped In The Closet.

5) Good CD   [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This is a really good CD. I enjoyed it. Most of the songs were good. 2 or 3 songs I really wasn't in to, but overall I really like it. I don't agree with what he does behind closed doors, but I do agree with his music. I will agree with other reviewers about this not being his best CD. I got what I payed for. It was woth it.
