Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5
1) Number 1 Fan [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Every song spoke directly to my heart--the power in her voice in effortless! Just like Luther Vandross, she can make anything sound GREAT!2) the beginning [Rating: 4 out of 5]
This is not one of the best rnb record that I've heard. They are not the best songs but Tamia's voice is lovely, one of the better voices in the industry. Buy it¡3) Classic [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This is a classic CD! This CD will never grow out of style!and it's not even a recent CD. This is actually my third time rebuying this CD because I keep lending it out and never get it back. but It's just that good. anytime u buy an older CD over and over that speaks for itself. U wont be disapointed. believe me! Every song is very good.4) Hello, Tamia fans. This is what I thought of the album: [Rating: 4 out of 5]
Before I get to the review, I'm gonna say that I've listened to this album twice already.Imagination - 3.5 stars. This song really had to grow on me. I didn't like it much at first but since I bought the CD it has grown on me.So Into You - 4.5 stars. Definitely one of the best tracks here.Never Gonna Let Go of You - 3.5 stars. This song isn't too bad.Falling For You - 4 stars. Nice upbeat song. It's a good change of pace. Maybe it should be later on in the CD though to break up all the slow songs later.Show Me Love - 3.5 stars. This is a slower song. It sounded like I really was gonna like this one but it is really repetitive. Not terribly, but enough that you notice.Rain On Me - 3.5 stars. This song shares the same fate as Show Me Love: it's repetitive. And the lyrics "I've been hurt so bad, at times it makes me sad, would you rain on me" aren't the best.Is That You? - 3.25 stars. This song is a nice change of pace but it's not the greatest song. It's not really what Tamia should be singing, IMO.Who Do You Tell? - 3.75 stars. This is a decent song.Gotta Move On - 3.75 stars. This song isn't too bad. Two things I like about it: The simple guitar and the strong chorus that doesn't get annoying. This Time It's Love - 3.75 stars. This song unfortunately falls under the same category as two songs before it. It has decent lyrics, especially in the beginning but the chorus is just too repetitive.Loving You Still - 4.75 stars. Finally, a *great* song. This is probably the best song here. It has very strong vocals and nice lyrics. Enjoy this great ballad!Careless Whisper - 3.25 stars. This is probably the weakest track on the CD. IMO, It's not a great remake and the chorus is just annoying. Some people said they liked it but I don't really see what they see in it. The sax isn't bad though. You Put A Move On My Heart - 4.75 stars. Beautiful song. It's a classic. It's a shame that I only thoroughly enjoyed 3 songs. But this one sets the mood.Final Grade: 3.826923077 stars...rounded up to 4. This is definitely better than her latest, Between Friends. I don't own A Nu Day or More but overall, I can recommend this CD to R&B lovers. I purchased this CD on January 30, 2007 according to Amazon. Hope you enjoyed and got something out of this. Peace.--Adrian5) Great! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
This is one of my favorite Cd's! Tamia shows her talent and she has beautiful songs on the CD.
