Customer Reviews (supplied by Amazon.com):
Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5
1) Solid, but not the Third Day we all love. [Rating: 3 out of 5]
A very good album, but not what you would expect from the masterminds of Third Day.2) Third Day is my favorite [Rating: 4 out of 5]
Third Day is my favorite band. Great album. Seems to me the lyrics in this album may have a little focus on their life as a band and pitfalls of stardom. I might be reading a little too much into that so don't take what I said too seriously. Whether I'm right or wrong I'm not really complaining. Like I stated.....great album.3) Weakest Effort [Rating: 2 out of 5]
Overall their weakest effort. Also the least memorable lyrics. No need to purchase this one.4) Never out of my CD player for long! [Rating: 5 out of 5]
Every song is great...I can't keep it out of my CD player for very long! My 5-yr-old daughter loves "Wire"...she messes up the words, but she doesn't care! My favorites are "Come on back to Me" because it gives such a great message of hope...no matter what you've done, no matter where you are, He always invites you to "come on back"...and "I will hold my head high" which inspires me to stand up for God regardless of the challenges. I also love "Innocent" which helps me remember how powerful the gift of salvation is. My least favorite is "Billy Brown", which I usually fast forward through. This CD rocks, and I love it!!!5) Crossover Christian Record [Rating: 4 out of 5]
To the audience used to Third Days' worship songs, like Offerings and Offerings II, Wired may come as a shock. Not once does any of the lyrics mention Lord, God, or Jesus. The listeners may feel disappointed hearing its "watered down" lyrics. Still, the album, in general, is solid. It gives good encouragements to those striving for fame, but failed. The song, "It's a Shame" has an especially poignant message about abusive relationships. As for the music, they sound good, but could use some improvement. Still, you won't feel sorry about buying the record.
