You’ve probably noticed that back-to-school items have hit the shelves and fall clothing has replaced t-shirts and bikinis on the racks at your favorite stores. It’s official: Summer is coming to a close. True, there are still a few weekends left until Labor Day and plenty of warm days ahead, but before we know it, the air is going to get cooler and it’ll be time to break out light scarves and booties. But, there is a silver lining in the end of beach bonfires and pool parties: Summer stuff is going on sale. While it may seem premature to stock up on goodies for Summer 2016, now is the time to buy. Sure, you might have to stuff some you new merchandise away until next year, you’ll be one step ahead of the game on the first nice day of 2016. Below are some of our picks on things you should buy now, while sales are hot!

Bathing suits.

The stores might be a little picked over right now, but bathing suits go on sale drastically at the end of summer – so it’s worth spending some time sorting through racks and bargain bins. If you don’t have the patience to do some in-store shopping for cheap bikinis and trunks, a search through BIGWORDS will bring up tons of bathing suits at cheap sale prices, like this TOPMILL bandeau bikini and these Kanu surf trunks.

Outdoor furniture.

There’s not much use for patio furniture once summer winds down – which means retailers push to get it off their floors. You can get great deals on everything from hammocks to small dining sets to umbrellas. Now’s also a great time things like fire pits and grills to get you all ready to go for next summer’s parties.

Games and play equipment.

From Slip N Slides to adult swimming pools, there are tons of things out there to make sure that you’re staying cool in the summer – and if you buy them now instead of waiting until next summer, you can save some cash. We also recommend picking up fun games, like bocce balls, giant inflatable bowling sets, and volleyball equipment for next summer’s barbeques.

Pool, boat and beach stuff.

Whether you spend your summers lounging by the pool, hanging on the water or with the sand between your toes, start thinking about what you want next summer to look like. Do you need a new cooler to keep your drinks chilly? Or maybe you wore out your pool float and are in the market for a new lounger. Or perhaps you’re positive that next summer you’re finally going to take up wakeboarding. Regardless, you can save big if you buy this stuff now, while it’s on sale, instead of waiting until next April to start investing in your summer fun.
